Emerson Street Speakers meets in 4th Floor Community Room at The Bank of Illinois, 200 West College Avenue, Normal IL.
From Veterans Parkway
Take College Avenue going west. After the street divides into two one way streets, continue through the light at Linden St. The Bank of Illinois is on the left hand side just before Normal Public library.
From Main Street or South Bloomington
Take Main Street North to College Avenue and turn right. Follow College past the university. The left turn into the Bank lot is right after the Fell traffic light. Note: Traffic is very congested on Broadway and is not recommended at this time.
Parking
Parking in the main deck is free after 6:00 PM. However, the gate is down until 10 pm, so if you park in the deck, you will need to take a ticket when you enter. When ready to leave, go to the automatic kiosk in the northwest corner of the first floor. Insert your ticket, and the machine will dispense a new ticket that will allow you to leave without paying a fee. Scan that ticket as you leave.
The best parking is the 14 spaces in the main lot right next to the bank that should be open. Easy access, easy exit!
